Become a partner in the mission
The Office of Development and Solidarity of the Augustinians of the Assumption (ODS) seeks to assist the work that our missionaries, present in 32 countries, carry out in the areas of education,
the advancement of women, and the protection of children among the most marginalized in the world.
Our brothers cannot continue their work except with the support and generosity of friends and associates who adopt their projects and allow them to work more effectively to meet ever-changing challenges.
For 150 years, the Assumptionists have been involved in education and formation in order to give people the opportunity to improve their lives and to provide with them renewed hope.
Your gift will help our brothers and their lay collaborators continue the great enterprise of education, social work, the battle against illiteracy and hunger, and programs of community development in rural villages, and strengthen parishes and small Christian communities as well as put an end to human trafficking whose victims are mostly women and children, especially in developing countries.
A contribution will give you an opportunity to become a partner in our mission and an active player in our work. Without your involvement, this work cannot be continued.
In the name of all those who are involved in our projects and in the name of all those in need, we extend a heartfelt « Thank you » for your generosity.

SUPPPORT FOR THE NETWORK OF BUSH SCHOOLS OF THE ASSUMPTION IN MADAGASCAR
Having assumed responsibility for the supervision of Christian communities in the region of Toliara (Tuléar) in the southern most portion of Madagascar since 1950, the Assumptionists have had
an opportunity to get to know the local population and their way of life.
So itisthatthey came to understand that illiteracy and the inability to receive an education weigh heavily on the future of so many children who live in villages in the bush.
This network of bush schools has now been operating for 15 years.Today, we oversee about such 45 schools, organized into 4 districts, all within the diocese of Toliara. It should be noted that we receive NO government aid.
Wee stimate that between 3.500 - 4.000 children attend our schools.

The agency «Les Amis d'Accompagner» (Accompaniment Friends) aims to promote and favor a process where by at-risk individuals assume personal responsibility and develop greater
autonomy in their social integration.
In this process, trained agency volunteers physically accompany such individuals as they negotiate the various steps to achieve social integration. In this way such individuals
become aware of their rights and begin to assume their responsibilities as citizens.
This is how the agency defines its mission and its activity. The major guiding principles findt heir basis in fundamentals and universal values, with the most needy as their object.
«Les Amis d'Accompagner» aims to be an intermediary between those seeking assistance and agencies, organizations, or other groups that provide it. There for either provides a link in
